Project
Berlin, Germany 2018
The Next Library Conference saw the first time an international conference on the future of public libraries came to Berlin. Following the conference was the first berlin library festival. raumlaborberlin developed the festival structure, based on the International Space Station ISS. It is a temporary scaffolding structure along the front of the America Gedenkbibliothek with work and project spaces docking on along the structures spine.
With the exhibition architecture for Territories of Complicity, raumlaborberlin wishes to address the evolution of the physical space in which works of art have typically been collected over the centuries.
