Arnhem, Netherlands 2021
Deep Encounter is a floating pavilion built for the biennale "sonsbeek20→24: force times distance ⏤ on labour and its sonic ecologies". It serves as a social gathering space and seeks to give equal consideration to both humans and nature in the park. The floating pavilion exists in nature but outside of its rules. Aside from the fact that it floats, the pavilion takes on a very artificial character. The round polygon shape of the Pavilion, a crystal-like constellation of triangles, is meant to emphasise its man-made qualities—floating starkly just off the shore of Grote Vijver, the park's biggest pond.
Berlin, Germany 2019
Over the course of two weeks, over 150 participants took part in a diverse curriculum convened by practitioners in the field of spatial practices. Acting as a non-disciplinary learning environment, the School proposes, designs, builds, negotiates, maintains, performs and celebrates an educational and convivial space in and around Haus der Statistik, Berlin. At the same time, it becomes a dynamic actor within a process of urban transformation, serving as a common sphere of action between participants, neighbors and civic society.

In Autumn 2019, Milton Keynes experiences the inaugural ‘A Festival of Creative Urban Living’ – a new biennial art, design and architecture festival for the city. Commissioned by Milton Keynes Council, the first edition is developed, shaped and co-curated by raumlaborberlin.
