Completion of the “Kolorado Complex”: An urban guidebook through a city threatened by unstructured demolition. This guide to Halle Neustadt combines historical knowledge with reports on current temporary projects, a set of tours of discovery through the Neustadt composed by its citizens.
This book illustrates examples of how collaboration between architects and the theatre can work to develop collective visions for a shrinking city. It documents events and experiences from the “Hotel Neustadt” project, defining urban vacancy as creative potential and thus meeting the ‘city’ challenge head on.

Die Studie “Kolorado Neustadt. Perspektiven für Halle-Neustadt” verfolgt einen strategischen Ansatz als Methode zum Stadtumbau: eine Kombination unterschiedlicher Planungsprozesse, Top Down und Bottom Up.
